The therapist will ask questions about your child’s development, address any concerns you may have, and provide recommendations for your next steps

• We currently accept and are in network with the following insurance providers:

  • ​BCBS of TX

  • United Healthcare

• We are currently in the credentialing process with Aetna to become in network providers. 

• We are out-of-network with all other providers. Private pay rates are available by request.

The occupational and speech therapy team will set up an initial intake appointment with you in order to obtain more information, complete necessary paperwork, and review your insurance benefits and/or discuss out-of-network processing or private pay options. The initial assessment is scheduled at the conclusion of your intake appointment. A referral/prescription from your child's doctor is also required to initiate therapy services. 

The occupational and speech therapy team will assess your child using standardized assessments and clinicial observation alone with the information provided during the intake appointment related to their developmental and medical history. Once the assessments are completed, the clinicians will generate a report that will be submitted to your insurance provider for authorization. This process can take up to 2 weeks; however, we will do everything we can to expidate this process.

CoLlab Pediatric Therapies partners exclusively with OOTKS, providing speech and occupational therapy services to those children receiving ABA therapy (if appropriate).  In partnering with OOTKS we ensure a truly interdisciplinary team and full collaborative approach to treatment, goal integration, and assessment.
